Selling Your Home This Fall? Follow Our Raleigh Real Estate Agent's Final Tip!
Hello! Welcome back to our final blog post concerning tips for getting your home ready for the market this fall! As we leave you with our last tip, remember that our Raleigh real estate agent will be back soon with tips that will help you stage your home during an open house or other home viewings!
As we well know, days get shorter during fall. As the sun sets, our homes can become a shadowed dungeon. It’s best to open all blinds, shutters and drapes in every window of your home. Hopefully, you followed our Raleigh real estate agent’s tips, last post, for cleaning your windows inside and out!
You can of course, wait to open all blinds and drapes until right before a potential buyer comes to view the home, but oftentimes, they may come on a moment’s notice, while you’re away from home. Leaving them open at all times helps to make sure your home is in perfect condition no matter what!
Once you’ve listed your home and you’re ready to start showing, be sure to make use of every light in your home. Turn on closet lights, appliance lights, and any lamp available. Also, add floor lamps or other forms of lighting to darker rooms that need extra brightening. When showing your home in fall, you can never have enough light!
